「angeL 」 and 「monsteR 」will both be released on December 2nd. This will be Koda Kumi’s first time releasing a mini-album in her 20 years. Japanese vocalist, songwriter, and industry veteran, Koda Kumi has announced two special mini albums to commemorate her 20th Anniversary in the music industry. To commemorate this release, a special website has opened that includes messages from SPEED fans, such as producer Hiromasa Ijichi, Hideyuki Nakayama, Noritoshi Furuichi, Airi Suzuki, and LiSA - just to name a few. All these discs will come housed in a special commemorative box.
It will also come with a visual book that will include treasured and unreleased photos of SPEED. The 2Blu-ray Audio will include all tracks in the highest resolution sound possible. The Blu-ray will contain unreleased live footage of their 「Final Summer Dream Stage in 千葉マリンスタジアム(Chiba Marine Stadium)」from 1999 that was held at Chiba Marine Stadium, now known as ZOZO Marine Stadium. The 8CDs, as said above, will contain original recordings of all their tracks and will include on unreleased song. SPEED MUSIC BOX -ALL THE MEMORIES- will release in one edition that will include 8CDs+Blu-ray+2Blu-ray Audio and is a Limited Edition. SPEED’s unreleased song, “Affection,” will also be included in this must have release. On October 13th, an announcement was revealed that there will be a special box set release containing all the original recordings of SPEED’s singles and albums in a set of 8 CDs, all in a collaboration with the labels TOY’S FACTORY, avex trax, and Rising Production. On SPEED’s official website, a Teaser was posted on October 6 with the taglines “25th Anniversary” “SPECIAL RELEASE” and “Wait a moment until 10:00 JST October 13th”, hinting at the box set. Arakaki Hitoe left the group and did not renew her contract after their disbandment in 2012. In 2008, they got back together and released new material, however, in 2012 they once again disbanded. SPEED did disband in 2000 and went on to concentrate on their solo careers, reuniting occasionally over the years, such as 20, to release new material. Titled SPEED MUSIC BOX -ALL THE MEMORIES-, the boxset will be released on January 13, 2021! SPEED debuted in 1996 with their single “Body & Soul” and have earned many awards over the years, such as New Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, and Pop Album of the Year, just to name a few.
